Theatre o.N. is moving

For Theater o.N., the 2025/2026 season will be marked by our departure from Kollwitzkiez and a new beginning at Fröbelkapelle! We are delighted to announce that we will be moving into our new venue at Fröbelkapelle, Prenzlauer Allee 75, in summer/autumn 2026. Construction and renovation work is currently still underway, but behind the scenes, the move is already being eagerly planned.

One era is coming to an end and a new one is beginning!

Thirty years ago, some of the ensemble members converted the shop with its Berlin-style room into a performance venue with their own hands. Since then, generations of children have had their first theatre experiences here, and our adult audiences have been entertained and challenged. In the small café in the basement, people discussed, laughed and celebrated before and after the performances.

Before we move, we want to celebrate our farewell together with you. We will be staging a series of performances for very young children aged 2 and above and for slightly older pre-school and primary school children. And adults will also get their money's worth. We are delighted to be reviving ‘so much pain! a bodypiece for LIZ’ by Katharina Kummer, a polyphonic piece about the freedom and pain of old women.

From mid-February, we invite you to a series of special events entitled ‘Fading Out’.

These include a theatre salon on archival work and two film screenings of old Zinnober and o.N. classics.

At the end of March, there will be a cheerful and quirky finale: ‘Und kam ich wieder zu singen’ (And I came back to sing) – in this retrospective in song, the ensemble sings its way through 30 years of theatre at the Kolle.

Come along and celebrate this moment with us!

Yours sincerely, Theater o.N.
