Big and strong, at last – how amazing we imaged adulthood to be when we were children! But what is that even supposed to mean, to be big and strong?
Questions of Identity and self-awareness are at the core of fragile. What does it mean to grow older? What do we do as children that we no longer do as adults? What is the connection between different generations?
Every work by Clébio Oliveira begins with extensive research and interviews with experts. For fragile, he initially worked together with the entire ensemble of Theater o.N.. The dancers and artists, ranging in age from 20 to 70, offered the basis for an exchange of experiences between the generations.

The Offensive Tanz für junges Publikum Berlin develops innovative dance formats for young audiences between the ages of 0 and 18, focusing primarily on production, networking and mediation. The perennial project is an association of four local, national and international partners from the contemporary dance and theatre scene for children and young people: PURPLE - International Dance Festival for a Young Audience, TANZKOMPLIZEN, Theater STRAHL, and Theater o.N.. By pooling their professional competences and creating sustainable artistic cooperations the partners seek to strengthen dance for young audiences as an art form in Berlin and beyond.
